A personal series taken between 2008 and 2010.

Part I

In 2008 somewhere between Runyan Canyon and Santa Monica I came across a crimson colored Pontiac GTO parked on a narrow side street. That car for me, was the embodiment of americana nostalgia. The next two years had me running through L.A. taking pictures of nothing but cars that had the same reminiscent feeling about them.

Part II

Every one of the roughly 50 images in Part II functions like a tiny little piece of a giant puzzle. Once you put all of them together, it appears: A golden lit somewhat abstract, somewhat cinematic portrait of Los Angeles.
